Hi! Thank you! Actually, I just got rid of my dreads. Time to be a new person! In case you’re wondering, I was completely able to comb them out, even though I had them for years. So don’t let anyone tell you other wise! And about them not being completely dreaded at the top, I guess that was just because I didn’t work on the root. Some people with dreads roll the root to get them really established, and I did that at the beginning. But then I got lazy and dread maintenance shifted from all of the time to never. So, treat them well in the beginning so the stay together and then do whatever you want! Practice continuos maintenance like Palm rolling and crocheting to make them perfect or let them do their thing and end up with the funky, misshapen ones :) I’m biased towards those ones! Good luck!
